A society threatened by polarization, history and economic collapse. Disparities, extremism and a history on the brink of repeating itself. Bringing the opponents together and replacing the violence with a slight hint of the homoerotic (all those men in uniforms!). Figuration and abstraction mingle together on the  battlefield of the paintings surface. Using the plasticity of paint to blend the formal and the historical into one. Is this just a dress rehearsal for the main show to come?
